HISTORY : 

Kyonggi University is an accredited, private higher education institution, established in 1947. The main campus is in Suwon, located 30 miles from the capital Seoul. The Seoul campus is located in Seodaemun District.

Student Enrollment:

As of 2023, KGU has over 17,000 students in majors in undergraduate and graduate programs on two campuses.

University Programs:

Kyonggi University offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs across 11 different colleges, including the College of Humanities, College of Social Sciences, College of Natural Sciences and College of Business Administration. Some of the most popular programs at Kyonggi University include Tourism, Hospitality, Arts and Design, Business, International Studies, Environmental Engineering, and Architectural Engineering.

International Students:

KGU has established a sister-university relationship with 152 universities in 31 countries. KGU has a Korean language program. Over 650 international students study at KGU.

Join a major and research club if you are looking for friendship and networking opportunities within the same department, while you increase your knowledge of your academic subject. Join the club of your choice and enhance your college experience outside of the classroom.

Visa Application: After being accepted, international students must apply for a student visa at the nearest Korean embassy or consulate in their home country. To obtain a student visa, the student must provide a valid passport, an acceptance letter from the university, and proof of financial support.

Arrival and Enrollment: Once the student arrives in Korea, they must attend an orientation session and register for classes.

Admission Review: Once the application and supporting documents are received, the university will review the application and make an admission decision based on the applicant’s academic background, English proficiency, and other qualifications.
