HISTORY :
Gachon University is an academic institute located in South Korea. The current structure of Gachon university is the result of a merger between four existing universities. Gachon University of Medicine and Science and Gachon-gil College merged in 2007, Kyungwon University and Kyungwon College merged in 2007, and Gachon University of Medicine and Science and Kyungwon University merged in 2012. Gachon University has three campuses for undergraduates, the Global Campus (primary) located in Seongnam, satellite campuses on Ganghwa Island and in Yeonsu-dong, and the School of Medicine in Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon, South Korea. Gachon University signed a strategic partnership with Hawaii Pacific to allow students to study abroad.

Activies:
The Weekend-Go program is a program that allows you to experience Korean culture by taking advantage of the weekend away from the busy academic life of the weekdays.
It is designed as a program that has a high degree of preference among international students and since participants can learn about Korean culture, so they you can get both benefit from the program and gain a pleasurable experience.
The program is announced at all times, so if you are interested, please refer to the cultural experience notice board.

The Korean language course at the Gachon University Korean Language Education Center consists of , , and , and each class is taught according to 5 days x 10 weeks class schedule. The total training period from the beginner’s class to the final advanced level is 1 year and 6 months, but one year course that completes the intermediate level course can provide sufficient communication skills.
