HISTORY :
Baekseok University is a private Christian institution of higher education, located in Cheonan City, in northern South Chungcheong province, South Korea. The university was established by the Baekseok Educational Foundation, which also founded Baekseok Culture University. It opened its doors in 1994, at which time it provided instruction primarily in Christian theology. It became a college the following year, and a university one year thereafter, at which time the graduate school was also established.

Sports Day
Sports Day is usually held during the fall. This is a good chance for students to get to know each other.
Baekseok Festival
A festival where students from different countries introduce their food, clothing, songs and culture to each other during the festival. It is in May every year.
Field Trip
During each semester, the students have an opportunity to experience Korean culture outside of the class-room. Students will visit famous tourist attractions and historical sites to experience Korean culture. Students can practice what they have been studying in class. Furthermore, students experience Korean culture through various activities such as pottery-making, and lessons in Taekwondo, Korean cooking, Korean paper art, and by attending various performances.

Baekseok University Korean language training program
The Korean Language Program is designed to improve international students’ comprehensive conversation skills in Korean. The program runs all year round, and it provides intensive Korean language training to international students admitted to Korean universities. The program offers the regular program year round, throughout the four sessions: spring, summer, fall and winter. Students may choose their desired quarter and begin their studies in Korean. There are 15 to 20 students per class with 10 weeks of class per semester for 4 hours a day (approximately 200 hours per 10-week term).
